Charlie Gibson is leaving ABC evening news. He retires after 35 years at ABC news. His last broadcast will be on Dec 18, 2009. Those who like his show might want to watch and say goodbye. Diana Sawyer is going to replace Charlie. Personally, I don’t like woman anchors (no sexism here). They all lack something, including Katie Couric at CBS – the best rated woman anchor. Men make better anchors. I can’t explain why but they do. They have classical style. They have sharp mind. They are elegant but not too complicated. Don't believe? watch the news and rate. I guess ABS evening news rating will be falling. Diana is good for the morning news but won't be good enough for the evening news. She lacks that “something”– and too "tender" for the kind of evening news.
Well, wish them both well. I may move to watch Brian Williams on NBC.
